While the Imperial Highness, the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has been named the Chairman of THLD International Logistic Limited, the company has put on hold the purported conversion of the Royal Highness’ fleet of cars, E24-7 Magazine correspondent, Emmanuel Omene-Johnson authoritatively reports.

The company’s media representative, Mr. Simeon said that the delay of the conversion of the cars belonging to the Imperial Majesty, The Ooni of Ife was due to technical and logistic hiccups.

He said, “THLD has decided to postpone the planned conversion of the cars of the Ooni of Ife. It’s all due to logistic and technical reasons. But the company hoped to implement the conversion, which is from petrol and diesel to the use of gas, otherwise known as domestic gas, in a short while.”

Meanwhile, the company recently converted vehicles belonging to Bassa Local Government and those of OMAPET Energy in Plateau and Kaduna States in that order.”

As an addendum, the CEO of THLD, Olusegun Olajuwan spoke on the operations of THLD, “Conversion and supply of products are our major focus. Most of our clients are big companies who get our products (CNG and LPG) at low prices.

“It’s our duty to get to them saleable and profitable products and services. We help increase their profit margins through the use of CNG and LPG products and services. That is because our products and services are cheaper, efficient and effective.

“LPG is three times less than the price of petrol and diesel in the UK. If the U.K. that has not gotten petrol or gas and buy such from outside its shores, can rely on gas propelled machines and vehicles to run its economy and social life, there is no reason Nigeria in particular and Africa in general, shouldn’t join in this new trend.

Nevertheless, while THLD is getting other companies to be involved in the conversions, the company would also have direct access to its clients. It is to make sure that the people are not short changed. To make life better for our clients, direct and indirect, we are going to have what is called, THLD/PARTNERED filling stations. They are to assist in the sales and maintenance of gas propelled vehicles and machines.
