Africa’s first online DVD/CD marketing cum distribution outfit, Ayibafilms.com has been unveiled by its parent company, Ayiba Communications Ltd.
According to the CEO of the film production and marketing firm, Abubakar Yakubu, “The desire to launched Ayibafilms.com, an online film distribution company, was to create our innovative distribution style in other to reawaken the DVD market.

We are motivated by the zeal to take Nollywood films and films from any part of the world to all classes of our buyers. It was a possibility created by the worldwide wed, the Internet.”
The national scribe of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, who doubles as an actor and filmmaker added, “The difference is that people can now sit in the comfort of their homes or offices and select film titles of their choice and in an instant, their wishes shall be delivered at their doorsteps.

Moreover, it’s imperative to state here that we are not in competition with video shops but complimenting their efforts in reaching wider and larger audience for the profitability of the filmmaker.”
