The governor of Akwa Ibom State, Emmanuel Udom cheated death when the roof of the Reigner’s Church along Uyo Road, Akwa Ibom collapses on him, members of his entourage, the General Overseer of the church Apostle Akan, worshipers and invited guests.
The incident which took place on the morning of Saturday, 10th December 2016 occurred while Apostle Akan was about to be ordained as a Bishop.
Although the governor and all others in the church were rescued unhurt, the ordination was called off.
