After a few days in the care of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, has signed an undertaking to return N480m to the Federal Government.
An online portal, The Punch reports that Obanikoro has also submitted his United States of America and Nigerian passports to the anti-graft agency for proper keep.
Obanikoro who has returned N100m was also asked to provide two sureties who are directors in the Federal Civil Service.
He was arrested on his arrival in Nigeria. He has been in the United States after his party; the Peoples Democratic Party was defeated in the 2015 elections which produced the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari.
