Highlife artiste K.K Fosu believes most Ghanaian musicians who are currently making hit songs lack talent.
The “Anodwe Yede” singer speaking to KMJ on Hitz FM said without mincing words that these musicians record “yawa” songs for the public to consume bad products.
He promised to put certain measures in place to eradicate “borla” songs from the industry if he was MUSIGA president. K.K Fosu continued that most musicians currently enjoying fame are always in a hurry to gain fame instead of learning how to record good music.
When asked to mention some of the “wack” musicians he is talking about, he named Wisa and “so many hiplifers”. He explained that Wisa “cannot even perform live band as a singer.”
Commenting on dancehall musicians who mime on stage when entertaining fans at events, the musician stated that “any dancehall artiste who cannot perform live band on stage is a wack artiste”. He named Stonebwoy and Samini as dancehall musicians he admires most because of their ability to perform with live band.
”So many dancehall artistes cannot perform live band on stage. If you think you cannot perform live band then you are part of the wack artistes.
If Shatta Wale thinks he cannot perform live band on stage, then he is part of the wack musicians”
